Happy Hour

Yey!! And we are back online. I havent been able to access this for almost a week. An excruciating week without being able to access my wierd and confusing written ideas.

So, what was this week all about?? Hmmm... Actually, this has been a calm week, very calm, peaceful, uneventful, at times too calm. But it was nice. Its nice to have one of these weeks to get a nice balance.

Today its a state holiday, no idea yet what will come of the night. For now, just some DnB and McDonalds.

peace!

How nice it is to spend the entire day listening to music. Get those ancient songs you haven't heard in a while. This gets your music taste back in shape and it's also a nice memento of those good 'ole days.

Life is a twisted road...

Ok, weekend has come and gone, whats of it?

Lots of rest for almost an entire day!! yey!! A miracle that is! I've almost decided to go to the US in Sept. Almost that is because theres still some adjustments to be made, lets see how they go.

Besides that, Sunday night was pretty interesting. Went out with a friend of mine, my cousing and her bfriend.

Very interesting indeed how life is. Leave yall with a song that might leave an idea of how it went:

"Life's a twisted road
We unwind together
Clouds uncover, our sky
Sitting in a couch made of sand
The milky ring around the moon enchants me...

I'm swimming though the tunnels of my mind
The waves of energy splash over my body

Transition from day into night
The euphoria of spinning in the moonlight

"Life's a twisted road
We unwind together
Clouds uncover, our sky
Sitting in a couch made of sand
The milky ring around the moon enchants me...
I'm swimming though the tunnels of my mind
The waves of energy splash over my body
Transition from day into night
The euphoria of spinning in the moonlight
[...]
The ubiquity of our love
is what makes it last forever..."

The Key to Life is...

The Key to Life is Balance

I beleive that nothing should be done in a "half-ass job" (pardon my french).

Everything I do I have to give 110% to it. I wont work if I cant devote 110% to it; I wont have a true friendship if I can't give 110% to it; I wont love if I can't give 110% to it. Thats it, simple rule.

However, although this can be exhaustive I think this is the only way to really, fully live life.

I work over 12hrs per day and I do it happily. Afterwards I still party of speak with friends, or both at the same time.

I feel that nothing can be truly felt, be truly experience, be truly appreciated if you dont give all you can for it (and a little more).

So far I have worked hard first before somoeone has worked hard for me; I have given trust before I could trust someone... and so forth (no further examples given, or needed).

This is my life, pure and simple. True or not, who knows?!?!?! (as one of my favorite students say...)

peace!

Only if...

Ignorance is indeed bliss. Not to have contact with problems, not to be in contact with your true reality must indeed be nice. Life without problems.

However, my philosophy works the other way around, bliss is obtained when problems are found and solved.

So far this year I've had a few successes in this, personally and professionally. By observing the situation, listening to people's opinion, and thinking, one is able to take actions to solve the problem. If the action doesnt solve it, go back and do it again.

And with this thought, I shall hit the pillows and have some sleep for another long & fun week.

Peace to all!

Ok, this reflects many of my thoughts in the past few days. One thing that will really get me out of my nerves is stupidity, and not the mere fact of not knowing because not knowing means that the person may not have had contact with such information. However, being smart for me means to seek knowledge and to retain it, to use it, to pass it on. The "I dont know" statement irritates me. But so is life, patience exists because it is needed.

You know what, I am INCREDIBLY happy right now. I get home, have dinner then come here to check my emails and world events, and then the excelent news arrived to me.

Today, the historical day of March 1st, 2005 the US Supreme Court outlawed the use of the death penalty for those unde the age of 18. Yey!! My undergraduate project was about this topic; thus my emotions linked with it is strong. I have followed closely a few cases, even extremely close when I worked with the Public Defender's Office.

For those of you who want to read the Supreme Court's Opinio, it is here:

Finally!! Excelent news!! The world has just gotten a little bit more sane, a little less brutal, a little more concerned, a little more rational.

I AM HAPPY! peace to you!! Live life, cherish it, yours and everyone elses!
